Case Histories: Fears / Phobias
Fears come in many different forms and they vary in the degree of severity too. Fears can range from avoiding doing something because you do not like it, to becoming absolutely terrified or petrified of certain things or certain situations.
Unless you yourself have a fear or phobia, it is very hard to understand how debilitating they can be for the people who suffer from them. We all suffer from self-doubt at times; sometimes irrational phobias too - often related to traumatic events that took place in our childhood. Sometimes we need skilled help for the emotional healing to take place.
Health Kinesiology practitioners often see clients who need this help and their skilled corrections can help transform the life of those affected.
A few typical examples are included below: |

Fear of Exams
A client had an extreme fear of exams. She couldn't even write her name at the top of the examination paper. After just two sessions of Health Kinesiology she was not only able to study more effectively, but she was also able to take her exams and she passed them with flying colours.
Fear of Flying
A couple desperately wanted to go to America to visit a lifelong friend. However, the wife couldn't even talk about flying, never mind actually getting on a plane and doing it! The phobia was so bad that she would even have to leave the room when the subject of America arose.
The lady desperately wanted to fulfil both her and her husband's dream, but her fear was just too great.
She began having Health Kinesiology sessions in Jan 2000. By late Feb, that same year, the couple booked their dream holiday to America and not only that, but they went on an excursion and flew over the Grand Canyon in a light aircraft. A truly amazing achievement for the wife and a dream come true for her and her husband.
Fear of Choking
A client had suffered for 20 years with fear of choking and as a consequence never ate out in public. Even the thought of eating out sent her into a panic.
The problem started after the lady had had treatment for post-natal depression, and was possibly caused by the birth of her baby, since she had herself been born with the cord wrapped around her neck.
Prior to seeing an Health Kinesiology practitioner the only help that she had been offered for her fear was counselling, which she said had been about 50% successful.
After the completion of her Health Kinesiology work she reported a 90% success rate and she now lunches out with no problem.
Fear of Frogs
A client had been afraid of frogs for 60 years - after one of her cousins chased her with one. She was so afraid of frogs that she had made her garden totally frog proof by having the fences put into very deep ground and having them over six feet tall and keeping all gates closed so no frog sneak in and invade the garden.
Before Health Kinesiology she would be physically sick at the sight of a frog in the garden and would not step into the garden for days just in case it had not gone.
After receiving Health Kinesiology the client has no fear of going into the garden and if she does see a frog she just picks it up and puts it into a bucket and gets rid of it into the field opposite.
Fear of Injections
A lady had a dreadful fear of injections. When any injection was administered she would faint.
As a result of Health Kinesiology she was delighted to be still standing after having to have an injection. feeling not the least bit woozy. She was so excited by what had happened that she phoned her practitioner immediately to tell her the good news.
Fear of Spiders
One lady was a 'client' on an Assessment Day for a Practitioner and this is her story:-
I was terrified of spiders to a degree that I am too embarrassed to admit.
When my son was a few days old, he started crying and I got out of bed (3am) to go and see to him. I turned the light on, and there just above his cot was this massive spider above his cot. I froze, my son was crying, I wanted to go to him but I could not because of the spider. I did not know what to do, its 3am in the morning, so went and knocked on my neighbours door and said to her I don't care if you never speak to me again, and I know you are not going to be happy, she looked at me and said what is it Margaret I said my baby is crying and there is a spider above his cot and I can't get to him, she gave me a look that shut me up and told me exactly what she was thinking, but she got rid of the spider. We laugh about it now but she was not impressed.
While I was having the correction I was very upset but could not tell you why. But it hurt me at a level that even surprised me. After the session I was very shaky inside, and a bit wobbly for a couple of days. Not sure what I was thinking around that time, just kind of numb I suppose. A few days later a big mother of a spider climbed up the curtains behind my bed just as we were going to bed! I jumped but regained composure very quickly, I did not however feel confident enough to remove the spider but asked my husband to do it and he did. I did notice when I got up in the morning that I had not thought about the spider, it did not get in the way of my sleep.
A spider was in my office last week and in the past I would have screamed and ran the hell out and got one of the men to get rid of it before I went back in. But all I did was look at it and carried on working.
I still have not removed a spider by covering it and chucking it out but I don't feel ill/sick/anxious/frozen around them any more.
So want to say thank you so much for what has been done for me.
