New pages on the web site - new case notes
We are currently expanding the section on specific illnesses and adding case notes, where we have them. However, we still need more case histories / client testimonials. If you can help, please sent them to Amanda at: theshwanrooms@googlemail.com The new pages are linked under the section called Case Histories

A new look for the web site
The first news item is pretty obvious really. The web site has changed its appearance - with a new header, changed background, navigation buttons at the top and a more consistent look and feel. Hope you like it!
Our earlier web site was designed some 5 years ago after we took over responsibility for promoting Health Kinesiology in UK from Jane Thurnell-Read who introduced HK into Britain and was responsible for building the foundations of today's organisation. Since then some 75,000 visitors have read the pages of the old site - which had grown to over 100 pages.
In the next couple of months, the site will be developed further, with more content, to help to attract more clients for our practitioners and also help promote Health Kinesiology.

March Update: the new site has seen visitor numbers growing by well over 3000 a month to over 92,000.
January 2008 was our best month ever for site visitors. February was even better with 3895 visitors.
July update: visitor numbers now total over 110,000.

good for displaying at your therapy practice too. See the Members' section for a bit more detail. Click on the image to download a larger panel (PDF) with clearer details.

There's a new car sticker too - for your back window.

A new HKI team now in operation
With Ann and Sandie's impending departure for New Zealand, the HKI team has changed and we are pleased to welcome Amanda Brooks, Ben Calder, Jo Dall, Sue Moor and Anna Orviss to the team.
One of the early initiatives is the development of the web site including a new look and feel and more information pages. The HKI will also be appointing a public relations agency to develop more awareness of HK and generate more visitors for the web site (and hence more business for our practitoners).

Advertising Health Kinesiology We now have a banner advert running on a very popular web site: Imperfectly Natural - Janey Lee Grace's inspirational and busy web site. Janey is a presenter on the UK's most listened to radio station BBC Radio 2 (currently co-hosting Steve Wright in the Afternoon). It is already bringing us extra visitors to the HK site as a result of Janey's recommendation. See: www.imperfectlynatural.com/

Beginners' workshops and taster days
There are taster sessions for those interested in learing more about Health Kinesiology and are intended for those with little or no experience of kinesiology. These workshops and classes are a useful introduction to our therapy. Some of those who attend the courses are simply interested in helping themselves or their family with health issues. Others see it as a useful way to find out more about health kinesiology and perhaps then go on to enter the full training programme for practitioners. Either way, the workshops are great fun and a useful way to broaden your skills.
